Since I got into the industry about seven years ago, outdoor weddings have been it. On rare occasion did I have an indoor ceremony or reception and almost never both. I totally get why too. Frankly, outdoor weddings provide better light for your photographer to capture your day and a more neutral backdrop to create the wedding you want.
Often times venues with indoor space look a bit like cheesy hotel ballrooms with bold carpet, dated drapes and bad lighting. Not all of them of course, but enough to give indoor spaces a bad rap. Frankly, I was a pretty vote for outdoor everything when you can until I saw this styled shoot.
This light, bright and airy loft gives the space life. With an abundance of natural light shining through the big industrial windows, you get all the benefits of being outside with all the benefits of being inside. Frankly it’s a win win in my book.
The team of vendors behind this shoot did an amazing job incorporating industrial elements while still creating a natural, romantic feel with soft touches of blue. It’s great inspiration for spring and summer weddings! My favorite part – the gorgeous copper ombre cake and those adorable bud vase place cards.
